Thigh prosthesis with C-leg knee joint
The total amount of arm/leg donation includes not only the cost of the prosthesis with all its components, but also the replacement of liners and components throughout the year and the ongoing maintenance of the prosthesis.
To learn how to use their prosthetics, our Supers work with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, exercise in a specially equipped gym and swimming pool, and receive counseling from psychologists, lawyers and career counselors.
All of our superhuman services are free, so every donation allows us to work better and give back lost abilities to as many people as possible.
Technical Description
The C-Leg is a hydraulic knee module with an electronic control system from the world's largest prosthesis manufacturer Ottobock that provides the highest possible safety in all phases of the gait. It is the first fully microprocessor-controlled prosthesis system. Electronically controlled flexion and extension under any walking conditions (descending stairs, walking on an inclined plane or rough terrain) gives the patient confidence, and ensures naturalness and harmony of movements.
